Patents, Etch and Bendy Buses
Wednesday 31st May 2006
Category: News
Let's start with the good news - the the European Commission has stopped handing out software patents, marking a change in heart for the EC.
In other news, bendy buses strike again - this time, instead of arson, they are attacking cake shops - is anybody safe?
Finally, an article on my distribution of choice - Debian Etch. Incidentally, a new version of apt just went into Etch, meaning that update repositories is only a case of downloading the differences, making updates a fair bit quicker.
